WASHINGTON (AP) — Barack Obama erased Hillary Rodham Clinton’s once-imposing lead among superdelegates Saturday when he added more endorsements from the group of Democrats who will decide the party’s nomination for president. Obama added superdelegates from Utah and Ohio, as well as two from the Virgin Islands who had previously backed Clinton. The additions enabled Obama to surpass Clinton’s total for the first time in the campaign. He had picked up nine endorsements Friday.
Got a PS2, along with Guitar Hero 1 and 2, Soul Calibur 3, a memory card, and a dvd remote. Eventually I want to get Okami, though I'm still debating if that'll be for the PS2 or the Wii. I've heard there's a few sensativity control issues with the Wii version, and the Wii box art is hilariously fucked up. The IGN watermark is on the image, like the boxart designer totally pulled the cover image right from IGN. :wtf: Also, they put a review 9.5 out of 10 thing on the front... that's from a PS2 review. :') So yeah... if I can find the ps2 version I'll likely get that rather than a subpar port, but that requires finding it. Other than that I want to find Disgaea and Ico. Also on my list is FFXII (oh god why am I wanting a Final Fantasy game), Tales (I have no idea what order I should play the tales games in, or if it even matters), I'm sure there's tons of others but I'm drawing blanks right now.
Mario Kart Wii came out at midnight, so I totally picked that up. (Just finished beating the first 3 50cc grand prix). I also traded in a few old Wii games I'll likely never play again to get a wireless PS2 guitar so I'll have two guitars for the PS2, and one that I won't be tripping over all the time (I almost pulled the ps2 off the shelf today forgetting about the tether between the guitar and my system).
Went to Ginger, a new Asian restaurant in town, for sushi. My dad was all "I don't like chinese food much :<" but agreed to go anyway because that's what I wanted for my birthday dinner. Then, when we got there and he started looking at the menu he almost immediately found something that sounded good... followed by something else... and something else yet... and eventually settled on roast duck. GG dad.
In non birthday news work is going awesome. I'm loving this internship at LRS so much. I got my first bit of code into the test and production trees on Friday, which is pretty cool. Granted, that code is only copyright comments and removing of warnings, but still!!! I finished my first plugin this week, but I'm waiting for that to get code reviewed again. Got assigned another plugin to work on, that I barely started on Friday.
“So, I'm standing on town, I gotta pick up, it's my week of buying snacks everyone for the part we do so we buy something every Friday and we just go around. So, I'm driving and I'm gon(?) have this car that have random state license plate. Just one of the pregenerated(?) plates that are little bit cheaper that having a custom one like my frozen plate so anyway I think it's late so I'm driving my ass off because I looked at the license plate and it starts with the numbers letter A 55 so literally just says ass in the back of this car and I'm just dying over here, best license plate ever. If I was gonna get a pregen(?) license plate, that's what I would want cos that's hilarious. Yeah, that's it, bye.”

Current Mood: amused Current Music: Nightwish - Beauty Of The Beast
So I went to my first real concert today. Lynyrd Skynyrd came into town and played at the Prarie Capitol Convetion Center. It was pretty epic. Good bands hardly ever come to Springfield, especially not since the Warehouse closed. The convetion center isn't the best place for a concert either... it just echos off the cement walls. None the less it was Lynyrd Fuckin' Skynyrd.
Some dude named James Otto opened for them. Apparently he has the #2 cd in the country right now (or so he said)? I've never heard of him but he was more or less meh. Generic country with a touch of southern rock... but not NEAR enough to get past my hatred of country music. He looked like a country version of Jack Black too. He did have one good song though, called "Friends Don't Friends Dial Drunk" which wasn't so much good as it was funny, and not good enough nor funny enough that I care to hear it again.
Skynyrd only played for about an hour and a half, but they went through all of their BIG songs. They ended with Sweet Home Alabama and just kinda left and everyone's lighting their lighters and screaming for about 5 minutes before finally the piano player comes out again all LOL I AM AWESOME and everyone cheers because they're expecting the band to come back out and play Freebird but he's like PRANKED and does this truly fucking EPIC piano solo that goes on for a few minutes... and then he starts playing freebird on the piano and everyone cheers like crazy and the rest of the band charges out for 12 minutes (11:57) of awesome. I tried to get a vidoe of Sweet Home Alabama and a recording of Freebird with my cell phone, but the music was so damn loud the mic on it completely garbled everything that remotely sounded like music. Oh well.
I'm usually not one to link shit from Petition Online... but when you see a news article like this there is only one thing I can say: "WHERE DO I SIGN UP?!?!"
Uwe Boll, the infamous German director behind such video game adaptations as House of the Dead, BloodRayne, Dungeon Siege and Postal, has recently admitted that he would retire from making movies if enough people want him to stop. When FearNet mentioned to Boll a petition online signed by 18,000 people requesting that he cease making films, Boll responded that '18,000 is not enough to convince me.' So how much would be enough? 'One million,' Boll said."
